“It’s a wide piece of land, so holes go north-south as well as east-west, which is an advantage. It’s hard to say how good a course it will be until it has been there for many years. Mike DeVries has done an amazing job of shaping the holes; he has made the course look like it was always there. Most importantly, it’s fun to play. Golfers can use the mounds on the greens to feed balls to the holes.”
